University of Toronto
Featuring two workshops, a keynote seminar, panel discussions and a Think Tank session event jointly organized with IBM Canada, you will learn to (1) be an effective leader and mentor and (2) identify gender bias and navigate through the workplace. This 3-day retreat will be spent with graduate students, post-docs, faculty, and industry personnel from various STEM fields, including various newtworking sessions with academics and professionals. With activities both at U of T and off-site, we will host a fun and inclusive environment for discussing gender diversity issues, developing professional skills, and building a close-knit community in the STEM field. Everyone is welcome!
